Personal Coaching Mantra

As a swim Instructor/Coach, I have been teaching swim lessons and water safety for many years. The more people I teach in my swimming classes, the more I realise they need my help. I am determined to help you conquer your fear and begin swimming to your potential. I strongly believe whatever you learn, it is worth learning right from the very start.

Are you missing out on all the fun because you are too scared to go swimming? Then, don’t hesitate I will be there to guide you. You will find that under my proper teaching and guidance you will feel more confident and relaxing in the water.

What’s more, swimming also strengthen children’s lung and is a natural remedy for ailments such as asthma and bronchitis.

As an added bonus, learning to swim will make your body becoming more fit, toned and even helps you to maintain a slim and curvaceous figure. Swimming Lessons helps to de-stress from hectic work, then a dip splash in the water is exactly what everybody needs.

All my students enjoy their swimming lessons very much is because I ensure that all my students be encouraged to learn at their own pace and never be forced. It is so important for kids to learn to swim and survive in the water. During my lessons, it always consist of a range of activities that promote swimming and water safety, including fun, games, water safety education, skill and stroke development.

I feel that it is indeed rewarding and challenging to see those kids overcome their phobia of water and begin the process of learning how to swim.

My patience and friendly approach not only gain the trust among the parents but most importantly my students.

Personal Coaching Mantra
Why we want to learn how to swim? Some of the reasons I collected from my students include: I want my child to learn about water safety especially when the swimming pool is just next door. I want to improve my swimming strokes. I want to overcome water phobia. I want to lose weight. The doctor advised me to take up swimming. I want to learn the skill as I do not want to get drowned. I want to mix with people with like-mind. I want to learn about relax swim. I want to stay youthful and keep a healthy lifestyle.

Swimming is a sport one should not miss out. It has a total effect in the overall wellbeing of a person. It not only keeps a person physically fit and healthy, but also one that serves as an avenue for us to build on our self-esteems, improves our mental strength, shape our personalities and characters, preparing our students to meet the many challenges as they move on.

Interestingly, swimming is also an activity that acts as a “repair agent”. You might ask in what way? People who swim tend to be well maintained, in that the continual movements utilizing overall body functions work the cells such that they always regenerate at a faster rate, making us look youthful and healthy. Swimming definitely enhance one quality of life.

Individuals have different learning capabilities. As a trainer and a coach, I come to know of their fears and concerns. My lessons are planned to meet the needs of my students. At the end of the day, they come and tell me: “Yes, I can, and I can swim!” and say it out confidently.

Come to me, as I would bring you through to swim correctly and swim gracefully.

Personal Coaching Mantra

I was on of the certified Swimming Coaches Singapore since 1994 and have been teaching children of various age group to master the abilities to swim and be safe around water. I was in the swim team of Upper Serangoon Tech from 1983 to 1984 and also in Singapore Vocational Institute from 1985 to 1987. I also participate in the waterpolo team from 1989 to 1990 for combat engineer’s formation.

It takes slot of patience and commitment to teach a child to swim. When you see a child swim for the first time it warms your heart and the look on the child’s face is truly memorable.

I love when I get to see a child conquer his fear of water. For the first few weeks of lessons the kids sometimes show such phobia towards water. Then, all of a sudden, they’ll tell me they love the water.

I try to keep my classes fun and enjoyable. I don’t push my students. I build on what they enjoy and then expand on those skills. I strongly believe the class size should be kept to a minimum to enable a closer interaction between the instructor and students.
